Abigail Jones, 17 ans, a perdu la vue il y a onze mois. Lorsque sa grande tante Charlotte meurt subitement dans un accident anormal, elle retourne dans la petite ville où sa mère a grandi, près de Philadelphie. Elle rencontre Bart, l'étrange comptable de Charlotte. Bientôt, le chaos s'ensuit.
